    I ran in the Taco Cabana to get a cup of coffee.  That was it. I was headed out of town and don't particularly like gas station coffee.  Quite honestly, this place is a hit or miss with food and service.  This day, was a miss. I ran in, ordered coffee, went over to the coffee and it was totally out which meant I apparently I had to wait for the entire big crane to brew. I asked if someone could fill it and the young lady was attempting to, but they also had run out of the coffee and apparently had to go look upstairs and find some more.  I asked if I could get my money back, but apparently that is difficult too so I went to the lady making the tacos and said all I wanted was a cup of coffee and didn't have time to wait 15 minutes for this coffee to cook.  She said she had some behind the counter.  She went and filled my cup and handed me the cup I made my coffee and left.  It wasn't until after I got in the car did I realize the coffee was not only horrible, it was cold.

    I updated my star to a 3 from a 1 because corporate has reached out to me and is making it right.

    Ok so we decided to try the taco Cabana super nachos the menu style looked really good. When we got home after ordering our nachos it wasn't as expected. The nachos were thrown into a box, no plate nothing but FOIL UNDER  neath. I expected better than this

    I waited at the counter for five minutes while the three employees, who even looked at me, didn't come to take my order. The restaurant wasn't busy and since no one took my order, I just walked out and ate somewhere else.

    If you know what you want from them menu then this is the spot for you. The tacos are generous, the queso is hot, and the flautas are crunchy. Perfect late night snack.

    This food is NASTY! Taco Palenque is better. Just a few miles down the road and worth the money. Taco Cabana is trying to serve us USDA (F) grade beef that tastes like shit... How this resturant has gone down hill..   Sad!
